So, you're the person challenged to fix it, maybe just this one more time......It goes something like this, doesn't it?

"Please stretch the life of this (you name it....roof, window or window frame, door or door frame, wall board, fixture, concrete, black top...) and I promise, next budget season, I've got your back, pal. I promise.....a new (you name it again) is coming your way."

Right.

Well, doesn't matter what you're repairing or reviving, we've got the products you need.

"It has been my experience that sometimes - You do need to say, "this needs to be torn out and done correctly." It is OK for your competition to get the job, and tie himself up with call backs, and a lawsuit. If your gut tells you that you CAN help- give it your best shot with the best products available. Don't be Cheap- include a call back- and write a good contract that covers your ass."
