So, you're the person challenged to fix it, maybe just this one more time......It goes something like this, doesn't it?

"Please stretch the life of this (you name it....roof, window or window frame, door or door frame, wall board, fixture, concrete, black top...) and I promise, next budget season, I've got your back, pal. I promise.....a new (you name it again) is coming your way."

Right.

Well, doesn't matter what you're repairing or reviving, we've got the products you need.

Right, Paul? Dennis?

"The most inexpensive way, buy coil stock, 4 inch wide x 50+ feet. Bend coil stock in half at a 90 degree angle, this will make a 2” deep channel around the silo with a 2” flange for adhering to the concrete base with M-1 (1 inch min. from the base of the silo). If needed cut coil stock into sections and rivet the connection joints, then seal with M-1. After this is complete, the channel then can be filled with 1-Part pourable or DuraSil SL. The coil stock will stay in place. To fill the channel it will take approx. 25 28 oz. tubes, to adhere channel down, it will take approx. 12 10.1 tubes of M-1. I hope this helps, if there are any further questions please let me know. Thank you, Jeff Schuette, ChemLink Inc."

"Have 10 steel silos on a cement slab. Need to seal the bottom edge of the silos to the slab. Need to seal this about 1/2" thick and have a neat appearance when done. Each silo is 48 feet circumference. I imagine some type of molding that could be adhered to the concrete, say 6" out and just pour it full of sealant. Then maybe the form could be removed or maybe just left there. The 1/2" and the 6" just maybe figures. It could be wider and deeper. Any ideas?"

"It has been my experience that sometimes - You do need to say, "this needs to be torn out and done correctly." It is OK for your competition to get the job, and tie himself up with call backs, and a lawsuit. If your gut tells you that you CAN help- give it your best shot with the best products available. Don't be Cheap- include a call back- and write a good contract that covers your ass."
