You'd expect Google to be first with some cutting edge green site but it looks as though Yahoo beat them to the punch...and like Yahoo, Chem Link was one of the first to be "on the scene with green" before being green was a twinkle in Corporate America's eye.
How Green Can Green Get? Yahoo does attract an enormous amount of web traffic every day? What can each of us do to make a difference, and more importantly, how can we influence the rest of Corporate America to Get Green! Contact Yahoo, and even Google, and tell them to Get Green! And contact your Congresspersons!

"Other people are doing good things with search engine "green-ness". Blackle uses Google Search but changes the background to be black. A computer uses less energy to render the color black than it does white or other colors.
If you want to do search on the Internet but be green while doing it use Blackle. They also have it in other languages, Spanish, French, etc."
