Corporate Sustainability
Limiting Our Environmental Impact
As a brand of SOPREMA, Chem Link by SOPREMA reflects a shared commitment to reducing environmental impact throughout a product's life cycle. To help address the challenges of sustainable construction, we focus on developing durable, high-performance solutions that contribute to long-term building performance and resource efficiency.
Our approach to sustainability is built around three pillars: People First, Environmental Protection, and Building Tomorrow. Together, these pillars support the SOPREMA Group's commitment to responsible growth and a reduced carbon footprint.

- Each year, employees celebrating 20 years of service are honored with a tree planted in the SOPREMA Arboretum and a cast plaque recognizing their contributions.
- We are committed to the ongoing training and development of our employees. On average, employees complete more than 44 hours of training each year.

- Chem Link by SOPREMA has a long history of innovation in STPE (polyether) technology. These advanced polymer technologies are inherently solvent-free and formulated with low VOC content, helping support safer application environments and sustainable building practices. Today, Chem Link by SOPREMA products are used across a wide range of construction and industrial applications and contribute to solutions offered throughout the SOPREMA Group. .
- We offer a variety of products supported by Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These standardized, third-party verified documents communicate a product's environmental impacts based on life cycle assessment methodologies and ISO 14025 standards. EPDs help support transparency and can contribute to the documentation needs of LEED® projects and other sustainable building initiatives.

- Each year, SOPREMA diverts material away from the landfill and repurposes it back into the production process in all our U.S. manufacturing locations. In 2025, we diverted and over 1,200 tons of waste and repurpose nearly 100 tons back into our production lines. The Schoolcraft manufacturing facility, which produced Chem Link by SOPREMA products, diverted 389 tons with 14 tons reintroduced into production.
- A new solar array at the warehouse in Schoolcraft prov-ides sustainable electricity utilized in running the facilities daily. SOPREMA has solar arrays at five of its seven production sites. In total, SOPREMA generated over 315,000 kWh is 2025.
- As a good steward and neighbor to our community and environment, The Schoolcraft, MI facility maintains two pollinator areas on the property to help improve biodiversity.
