Our History of Innovation
Innovation has been at the core of Chem Link by SOPREMA since its beginnings in Schoolcraft, Michigan. Long before joining the SOPREMA family in 2016, Chem Link built a reputation for developing advanced sealants, adhesives, and coatings that delivered exceptional performance while reducing environmental and health concerns.
Over the years, the Chem Link team introduced a series of industry-leading technologies and solutions, including plural-component elastomeric urethanes for construction applications, abrasion-resistant urethanes for industrial equipment, moisture-cured sealants and coatings for roofing, penetration seal systems, and innovative adhesive technologies for construction, transportation, flooring, and building envelope applications.
This spirit of innovation led to the development of some of the brand's most recognized products, including M-1® adhesive and sealant, NovaLink®, cleanroom sealants, waterproofing systems, solvent-free roofing adhesives, and advanced polyether technologies that continue to serve a wide range of industries today.

Advancing Polymer Technology
Throughout its history, Chem Link has helped advance the use of STPE, polyether, and MS polymer technologies. These hybrid technologies combine the desirable characteristics of silicone and polyurethane chemistries to create products that offer durability, flexibility, adhesion, and weather resistance without many of the limitations associated with traditional alternatives.
Today, Chem Link by SOPREMA products continue to be developed with a focus on performance, sustainability, and user safety. Many formulations are solvent-free, low VOC, and designed to support healthier jobsite and building environments while delivering the long-term performance customers expect.
